Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress — Refurbishment
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress is temporarily closed for refurbishment beginning July 6, 2026, to add a new introductory scene featuring an animatronic Walt Disney. Reopening is expected sometime in 2027; no specific date has been confirmed.
Thursday at Magic Kingdom, in peak Florida summer, as feeder districts head back to school.
